Floriade 2012 - World Horticultural Expo - Venlo

The Floriade World Horticultural Expo has been held in the Netherlands every 10 years. Floriade 2012 will take place from April 5^th until October 7^th in a stunning park in Venlo. Over 2 million visitors will learn about nature and from nature, which makes them realize that flowers, plants, trees, vegetables and fruits are important in their daily life. Floriade 2012 theme: “Be part of the theatre in nature; get closer to the quality of life!” Besides are five theme worlds: Relax & Heal, Green Engine, Education & Innovation, Environment, World Show Stage. Floriade 2012 will provide a daily cultural programme featuring music, dance, theatre and graphic art from all over the world.

During Floriade 2012 children can discover the five worlds of horticulture. There will be daily activities for children at the Floriade 2012.
